Havre, Belgium Farmstead

An old Farmstead
in Havre, Belgium
The owner and his wife
have lived here since the 1960's
and it is chock full of
delights!
Welcome, browse, like anything?

Antlers anyone?

I could listen to this all day
in pristine condition from Germany

You can see the owner's reflection in the mirror,
wrapping up my purchase!

There are usually icons under these cloches
however
French Vases filled with flowers work too!

Very old, French Reproduction
I love the sweetness

Quite old, Louis XV Style

This is quite large, from England.  I think this would be lovely
as an island in a Farmhouse kitchen

From the Flanders region of Belgium

Historic Row House in Brussels

Our Friend likes to find
old discarded
chandeliers and pieces of
chandeliers
at flea markets and brocantes around Belgium
and turn them into
these...
Which are still works in progress
But when finished will be
Glorious!

This house has great hardware!

This stairwell is fabulous, however my photography skills are not!

Looking into the Garden

Hall mirror to check yourself coming in and going out!

Parks abound as well as iron work.

The ironwork is so detailed.  Do you see the little face?

A little adventure

Wonder where the shop Anthropologie gets their ideas...
none other than the countrysides of
Belgium and France

Today this little Belgian Pressed Glass Beauty
holds a tower of limes!

Louis Phillipe Cigarette Set...I think for pencils and my business cards...

A little French Shell Dish for jewlery or soap or...
